 The full name of Bill Gates is William Henry Gates III. He was born on October 28, 1955, in Seattle, Washington, in the United States of America. He is the son of William Henry Gates II, who was a lawyer, and his mother’s name is Mary Maxwell Gates. Bill Gates and Melinda Gates were married on the Hawaiian island of Lanai on January 1, 1994. They met in 1987, after Melinda began working at Microsoft. Bill and Melinda have three children: Jennifer, Rory, and Phoebe.
Early Life
 In the early life of Gates, his parents wanted him to pursue a legal career, but he refused and chose the software programming field as a career. At the age of 13, he wrote his first software program, when he was in 8th grade of his school.
At the age of 17, he founded his first company named Traf-O-Data along with his friend Allen and after that they developed a software for the first microcomputers. After the success of this project, Bill Gates left Harvard University with Allen and formed a new iconic company, Microsoft.

 In addition to his work at Microsoft, Bill Gates is also famous for his charitable and philanthropic work. He, along with his then-wife, Melinda Gates, launched the William H. Gates Foundation, which was later renamed the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is working globally to fund health, food, and poverty reduction programs. The foundation also supports a wide range of public health projects and provides funds to fight against global viral diseases like polio, malaria, and AIDS.
